The Mercy Ministry operates on the principle that the biblical mandate to "love your neighbor as you love yourself" implies action. This ministry is dedicated to reaching out and helping to meet the real-life needs of those in our local, regional, and global community through service. The activities of the Mercy Ministry range in scope from providing meals to a member of our congregation recovering from illness to rehabilitating decrepit housing for families in North Wilmington - and extend as far as sending aid to poverty and disease ravaged Eastern Africa.
